Command Mop only on X50 Ultra - but does very odd things

I think who ever programmed this thing needs to actually use it.  If they did, it would not be doing this odd behavior.  I've just about had it with this thing.  Soon it's going to get trashed - wasted my money.
I request it to MOP ONLY a room with just one small floor rug (bathroom floor).  

- It installs Mop pads
- It goes to room

- It turns around and goes back to dock
- It removes Mop pads
   -     IT DID NOT MOP

- It heads back to room to try to vacuum
- It starts to vacuum a small area, then returns to dock

- It installs Mop pads and heads back to room
   -    IT DID NOT MOP

- It returns to dock to remove Mop pads
- It heads back to room to try and vacuum again

- Gets to the door and thinks for a while, then returns to dock
- Installs Mop pads AGAIN and starts cleaning them

       -   NOTE that so far it has FAILED to even start doing what I requested TWICE

- 5th TIME going to rooom!
- It finally starts Mopping!
    - Meanwhile it added, removed, washed, re-added water - all without doing anything to Mop.

This is beyond frustrating.  Yes the software is up to date.  Perhaps the people who write the programs have no idea what they are doing.
