Mixed Flooring

We have an area rug in one room. I have marked the area as carpet in our map. When I am running the mop application, the robot still trys to climb onto the rug. Setting the area on the map is NOT accurate enough to enlarge the area without missing some of the area not covered. Any suggestions?

I have a Dreame X60 Max. Is is not picking up any debris at all. I have cleaned the filter and replaced the bag. Replaced both brushes. I put it on extreme vacuum and it goes right over dust and debris.
