Pet hair clumps

We have four dogs so quite a bit of pet hair. I noticed when our L40 is vacuuming the carpet, it leaves little rolled up clumps of pet hair. Is there a solution to this? We are only using the standard brush roller.

Do you have the Anti-tangleTriCut brush? I wonder if that would help. I have 3 cats and never had that problem with my x40
