[L40 Ultra] Docking issue with mops

I've noticed a recurring problem with the robot cleaner when it has its mopping pads attached: it consistently struggles to dock. Specifically, it seems to drift or slip to the right side of the docking station, ultimately requiring manual assistance to properly connect.
This issue prevents the robot from autonomously charging and cleaning its mop pads, which defeats some of its core convenience. Anyone has same issue? How to solve it?

Dear user,

Thank you for contacting Dreame.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. To troubleshoot the issue, please follow these steps:

1. Check for any foreign matter or dust on the robot's charging contacts. Dust can cause repeated docking issues. Please wipe the contacts clean before use.

2. Ensure the metal shrapnel on the charging contacts is not jammed.

3. Restart the robot, remove it from the charging dock, and then try recharging it. Listen for the voice prompt saying "start charging."

4. Reset the robot: Open the upper cover and locate the small reset hole near the Wi-Fi indicator. Press and hold the reset hole for 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt "Start to restore factory settings." Then, restart the robot to see if it functions normally.

If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us again.
Thank you for your understanding.

Same problem!  So frustrating!   Worked great for first 3 months.  Now rarely docks correctly.  If I clean everything very well it might work for the next three cleanings, but getting worse all the time.  Either this robot is a bunch of junk, or they pusposfully coded it to have this error, after a certain number of uses.  Customer service wants me to send it back, at my own cost, and they will try and repair it... I am sure that it would cost more than the robot is worth.. Think I will try another brand.. Dream like ecovac, just do not last, poor quality.. Designed for a short lifespan..
