1. **Wipe the contacts of the cleaning liquid tank**:
- Open the cleaning liquid tank and use a clean cloth to gently wipe the two contacts inside the cleaning liquid tank to ensure that there is no dirt or residue affecting the connection.

2. **Power off and restart the base station**:
- Unplug the power adapter of the base station and completely power off for 2 minutes. You can wait during this period to ensure that the base station is completely stopped.

3. **Power on again**:
- After 2 minutes, plug the base station power adapter back in and turn on the power.

4. **Reinstall the cleaning liquid box**:
- Reinstall the cleaning liquid box, make sure it is installed in place, and check if there is a sound prompt.

5. **Observe the prompt information**:
- Observe whether the device still prompts "Installation failed".

I believe that you may not have correctly opened the detergent bottle? Could that be the issue? I had the same experience where I noticed that the percentage was not going down after 3-4 uses. I further inspected the detergent and found that it wasn’t open.

How do you know if the detergent is working ?

Please ensure that the  detergent compartment is installed. The device supports the auto detergent compartment, and the app will indicate if it is installed. If not installed, the app will display a detergent installation error, but this will not affect the device's normal use.

To avoid this prompt, please reinstall the auto detergent compartment on the base station.

Can I leave the detergent dispenser empty and put a diluted cleaning fluid directly into the clean water tank?

I am having the same issue and haven’t been able to figure it out. I have uninstalled the tank and cleaned the contacts and reset it multiple times but I am still getting an error message stating detergent instillation error. Anyone find a fix for this yet?

My cleaning fluid won’t stay pushed down to trigger the sensors. I put a small wooden shim in to wedge it down and that fixed it for me b
