Dear user,

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
To troubleshoot the issue, please follow the steps below:

1. **Firmware Update**
- Ensure the firmware version is up-to-date. If not, please update to the latest version and check if the robot functions normally.

2. **Further Troubleshooting**
- If the firmware is already updated, proceed with these steps:

1)Check sensor failure: Verify that the laser sensor lens is not blocked by dirt, dust or other objects. Gently wipe the sensor with a clean cloth to ensure it is clean.

2)Gently shake or tap the LDS cover to see if it rebounds.

3)Check for any foreign objects near the laser sensor. Clean the area if needed.
4) Verify that the LDS can rotate normally.
5)Remove the robot to a new place and restart. Try to tap the bumper to see if it rebounds
6)Reset the device: If the above steps do not work, try restoring the device to factory settings.

If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us(support.na@dreame.tech) again.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi, The dust bag is on the cover above the robot, and the side brush is on the bottom of the robot. Due to word limit, if you need the manual of the machine, you can contact: support.na@dreame.tech

Why does the x40 clean the mops before and after cleaning the floor?? I understand the after part but why before since it’s already clean?
Hi, Before cleaning, the machine will put some cleaning solution to wet the mop, and after cleaning, the mop will clean itself to ensure the effect. We hope above information can help you.

Hi, support
Why there is no dust bag full msg sent? My dust bag is full resulting in debris cannot suck out of dust bin
Please follow below information ,we hope the information can help you.

Hi,

Whether the dust bag is full is calculated based on the number of dust collection times. If you have pets at home and there is a lot of hair, we recommend that you clean it regularly.

1. Clean the dust bag or dust box
Check the dust bag or dust box: Determine whether the dust bag is full or whether there are a lot of debris in the dust box. Please replace or clean it.

2. Check and clean the duct
You can use a long and thin brush to gently clean the duct. Make sure to clean every corner of the duct.

3. Regular maintenance
Regular inspection: It is recommended to check the dust bag or box and the duct every once in a while (for example, every month) to ensure that there is no blockage.
Keep it dry: Keep the inside of the base station dry to avoid accidental moisture that makes the garbage more difficult to clean.

We hope the above information can help you.
