Any advice? It’s extremely frustrating. I keep manually add it, says everything is connected and then when I look for my device on the app it’s not there.

Regarding your problem, we recommend that you do the following:
This may be caused by unstable network, which leads to the inability to load. Please try to change the mobile data, exit the APP, re-enter the APP and wait for loading.

Have you tried deleting the app and starting again from scratch? I had a similar problem.
No idea if it was causing the issue or not, but we had named it then changed the name. I noticed just before I deleted the app that it still had the first name showing , although it was showing the latest name elsewhere. Deleting it and starting over did help with connecting.
(I'm now having mapping dramas but that's another story...)
