X50 Brush/Mop Extend

Is there any way to designate where to have the unit extend the mop and side brush? One of the reasons I purchased the X50 Ultra was for that feature. The kick boards under my cabinets are hit or miss with this unit even thiugh they all have the same height clearance. The mop will extand out but still be too far away to really do anything. I have only seen the Side brsuh exten in open corners. I do have the areas marked as low clearance so the lidar drops.
