Our i Robot Roomba S9 (similar price & construction, but inferior technology) lasted about 4.5 years. We replaced the battery once and the tires once about midway through that time. Recently it threw an unrecoverable error and the manufacturer stopped firmware updates, leaving us high and dry. We replaced it with a Dreame X50.
I don't expect the X50 to last more than 5 years, depending on parts availability and manufacturer support.
We shall see. But yeah, it is nice not having dog hair all over our house and not having to constantly rescue our robot when it gets tangled up in cords, or stck under furniture.
It depends on your usage scenario and frequency of use. Currently, the official warranty is 3 years. But in fact, if it is properly maintained, the life of the machine will be longer.
