Distance from wall

Why will the vacuum not clean all the way to the wall? When it cleans it leaves a section of about 12 inches not done.

Hi,

What model is your machine?

Regarding the cleaning problem you mentioned, please follow the steps below to troubleshoot and set it:
1. **Verify Collision-Avoidance Mode Settings**:
- Please check whether the **Collision-Avoidance Mode** function is enabled on your robot vacuum cleaner. If this function is turned on, the robot will not perform embedded cleaning on the ledges under walls and cabinets.
- You can check or turn off this switch by following the path below:
- Settings > Floor Cleaning Settings > **Collision-Avoidance Mode**.

2. **Verify Mop Extension for Gap Cleaning Settings**:
- Please confirm whether the **Mop Extension for Gap Cleaning** function is enabled on your robot. If it is not turned on, it is recommended that you turn on this function for better gap cleaning.
- You can turn this setting on by following this path:
- Settings > AI-driven MopExtend Settings > **Mop Extension for Gap Cleaning**.

3. **Restart the Vac&Mop task**:
- After completing the above steps, it is recommended that you turn on the **Vac&Mop** task on the ledge area under the wall and cabinets to see if the cleaning effect improves.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. If you encounter any problems during the operation or need further assistance, please feel free to contact us (support.na@dreame.tech)! We will wholeheartedly provide you with support
