Won’t resume cleaning after charging

When the battery is low and it returns to the base station to charge it does not automatically resume cleaning unless I open the app and go to device. Any ideas?

Mine is doing the same thing, been doing it for over a month now. I’ve ensure the “do not disturb” mode is not on. I’ve tried different cleaning schedules/ modes. I’ve ensured there are no error codes. I know the vacuum is not messed with while it’s cleaning because I have it set to clean overnight. None of the solutions I’ve found online have worked. Very disappointing

1. Ensure the resume cleaning function is enabled in the app.

2. Check if the robot is set to Do Not Disturb (DND) mode; the resume cleaning function cannot be enabled in DND mode.

3. Verify if a fault message is triggered in the app when the robot is charging. If there is a fault, the resume cleaning function will not work.

4. Confirm that the robot has not been restarted or reset after enabling the resume cleaning function.

5. Note that the robot will not resume cleaning if it is manually recharged or placed onto the base. If the problem persists, please feel free to contact us(support.na@dreame.tech)again.

I have ensured that it is none of these issues. Resume clean is enabled, it’s not occurring during DND hours, there are no errors and nothing has interfered or stopped the clean. Any other solutions?

Same here. When it returns to recharge, the robot power light “breathes” orange, then the lights all go off. When I open the app and click on the device, it prompts it to resume…even if it’s been at 100%. That’s the only way to get it to resume cleaning. I’ve cleaned sensors, ensured correct settings (resume and no DND), and reset it twice. Called tech, and they pushed a firmware update that didn’t help. Waiting to hear back.
