How does the remote work on the Z1 Pro.  I can’t get it to work at all

The remote control supports the following functions:
1: Move the robot.
2: Clean at a specific spot.
3: Instantly dock.
4: Pause/Start a task.

-If your remote control is not working, please follow these troubleshooting steps:
1: Strong sunlight or water can affect the robot's ability to receive light signals.
2: The robot's battery may be too low to respond to remote control commands. Use the hook to remove the robot from the pool, recharge, and try again.
3: The remote control may be low on battery. Use the designated charging cable to charge the remote control and try again.
4: During operation, keep the remote control and robot at least 7 meters apart.
5: Remote control indicator light effects:
A. The remote control will turn on immediately after charging. Alternatively, press the power button while it is charged (1 second), and then turn it off after 3 seconds.
B. After turning on the remote control, the indicator light will be solid green. The device must be submerged in water for the remote control to function properly. Press the pause button for 2 seconds. Once the device's light bar turns purple (normal operation is a blue water-flowing light), the device enters remote control mode and can perform remote control tasks.
C. When controlling a device, the indicator light on the remote control will flash green normally.
D. When the device's light bar returns to blue, remote control mode has been exited.
