Ruining carpet

Hello - I have selected multiple times to ignore my carpet as well as have made it bigger manually - the robot keeps going back to the normal ways. It is ruining and unraveling the tinsels of my carpet and I can not fix this. Occasionally it identifies fabric but still runs over it.
