Device is not docking

The Dreame X50 functions properly during cleaning, but it does not dock correctly afterward to begin charging. This issue has occurred despite the device being in use for only two weeks. Once cleaning is complete, the unit fails to fully seat on the charging pads. I have verified that there are no obstructions preventing proper docking. If I gently push the device toward the docking station, it begins charging without issue. Could you provide any advice or troubleshooting steps to resolve this problem?

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. To troubleshoot the issue, please follow these steps:

1. Check for any foreign matter or dust on the robot's charging contacts. Dust can cause repeated docking issues. Please wipe the contacts clean before use.

2. Ensure the metal shrapnel on the charging contacts is not jammed.
3. Restart the robot, remove it from the charging dock, and then try recharging it. Listen for the voice prompt saying "start charging."
4. Reset the robot: Open the upper cover and locate the small reset hole near the Wi-Fi indicator. Press and hold the reset hole for 3 seconds until you hear the voice prompt "Start to restore factory settings." Then, restart the robot to see if it functions normally.

Next time dont push the robot,, on the robot press the arrow button left front side of robot...This is for return to dock function key. Arrow button has other functions related to it! Used to create a password. To find the instructions it is located in the app. Create a password for camera security pics recordings ECT
