[L10s Pro Ultra] Vacuums same spot over and over

I have two rooms with carpet and I find that when it cleans those rooms, it will always move over the same spot over and over and over. It will start out moving across the room but after a few passes, it seems to get confused and will do the same portion without moving over. It stays in the same “lane” and cleans the same 10-12” width until I stop it.  I attached a photo of a recent cleaning map. You can see where it cleaned basically the same area at the top and bottom of the room. Each time it did the same area for over 30 mins until I stopped it.

No problems with the hard floors in the rest of the house.

Please help.

It doesn’t seem to clean the kitchen or dinning room even though it’s on the map.  It wants to mop my carpet this sucks. I don’t understand the app who wants to help

I have just given up on it cleaning the carpets. When I drive it manually it can go over the carpet just fine, but when it goes automatically it seems like it just gets confused like you said. By best guess is that it seems like maybe it senses resistance from the carpet and thinks that it’s stuck so it’s just constantly doing some recovery behavior to get unstuck. It seems like if the threshold for considering itself stuck was just increased or configurable then it would handle the carpet just fine.

Hi,

1. Check the cleaning mode settings of the robot: Open the DREAME APP to see if the area is set for deep cleaning or if pet-friendly furniture is configured. The APP will trigger an extra cleaning cycle for pet-friendly furniture areas.

2. Confirm whether the robot's cleaning path is normal: Use a soft dry cloth to wipe the front-facing sensors, edge sensors, and cliff sensors. Check for any obstructions and ensure the sensors are clean and able to recognize the surrounding environment properly.

3. Check the cleaning environment: Try to keep the furniture layout in the room stable and remove any debris from the floor to prevent repeated cleaning due to environmental factors.

If the above troubleshooting steps are ineffective, please report the issue to support.na@dreame.tech, collect video evidence of the anomaly, reproduce the issue, and upload the robot vacuum log for further investigation.

We hope the above information is helpful to you.
