Govac 400 new WiFi

How do I set my vacuum up on a new WiFi network? Will I lose all of the room settings I’ve set up?

I literally just went through this too, it was a clumsy process.  I own 3 identical X40’s and gave them all different names in the app to keep track. Oddly, two of them had recognized there was no WiFi right away and alerted me with a pop up. There was no option to reset the Wi-Fi on the pop-up. I had to dig deeper within the app and eventually was able to find a simple reconnection link. The third one however I couldn’t dig deep in the app and find that Wi-Fi connection option. So in the top right corner I had to click the Plis symbol to add a new device. It was surprisingly easy from there, and I didn’t even have to remap!  for any of them!

There’s a flap that opens on the top of the robot with a QR code, at least locate that first and once you find the link to add WiFi connection, the app walks you through the steps very clearly to reset the Wi-Fi.  The hard part is just navigating to that link.

a. If the previous network is still there, stay online and add a new network in the app. For specific operations, please refer to the link guide.

b. If the router has been changed and the device is now offline, guide the user to re-configure the network (the original DreameHome account must be used for re-configuration, and the robot must not be reset), or try to change the router name and password to the same as the original one.
