The map is missing areas

The map created when my robot was first set up excluded the area under a long bench. Also, I added an area rug since the device was mapped. How do I get these areas corrected in the map so the robot vacuums, the area rug and goes under the bench?

I also have a room I want to add now that it’s warming up and I can open that door. Do you know how to do that?

Generally, the device will automatically recognize the surrounding environment and update your map during operation. Here are the specific suggestions for your needs:

1. You can start a full-area cleaning task to check if the device automatically recognizes the new areas. Please ensure there are no obstacles on the path and all doors are open, especially for the areas you want the device to newly recognize.

2. If the device fails to recognize automatically, you can manually add the carpet by navigating to "Map editing" -> "Ground environment" -> "Carpet" in the app.

3. Regarding the area under the long bench, please note that if the passable height of such low-lying areas is lower than or close to the height of the device's radar, the device may not clean it to avoid radar damage. This is a normal phenomenon.
