Hi,

Please try the following troubleshooting:

The first mapping process
- Exploration and Learning: During the first mapping process, the robot needs to explore the indoor terrain, so it takes a more tortuous route to cover more areas. After the map is successfully built and saved, the subsequent cleaning route will return to normal and be more efficient.

Everyday use process
If your robot is experiencing confusion in your day-to-day use, check the following:

1. **Preparation before cleaning**:
- Before cleaning, please tidy up any scattered items on the floor, such as drag strips, toys, slippers, etc. This helps the robot avoid frequent collisions during cleaning, thus reducing the likelihood of route confusion.

2. **Checking in Cleaning**:
- Inspect the drive wheels at the bottom to make sure there are no foreign objects stuck, dirty, or greased. This situation will cause the robot to move abnormally, affecting the cleaning effect.

3. **Collision during cleaning**:
- If the robot collides frequently during cleaning, it may briefly move along the edges and then resume bow-shaped cleaning. This is to readjust its sweeping mode to ensure more efficient cleaning.

4. **Frequent Confusion**:
- If the robot often has chaotic routes, it is recommended to update the robot's firmware to the latest version. In addition, consider resetting the map and restarting the map to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the cleanup.

If the issue remains unresolved after completing the above steps, please contact support.na@dreame.tech for further investigation and assistance.

Also, kindly provide a video of the problem to help with diagnosis.
