Yet another dog hair issue

After getting my L10S Ultra we adopted a dog, a big one, that sheds, quite a bit. We have laminate floors and it was doing a great job before but now the dust bin is not emptying and after every room I have to check the bin to make sure it empties and 7 times out of 10 it fails to empty. Channel to the dust bag had to be cleared once but it has remained clear other than that, checked with an endoscope camera. I have it set for pets but this seems to happen very frequently. Is there a setting I'm missing? Still less work than sweeping and mopping with a broom and mop. EDIT: Research found a filter behind the Dust Bag that needs to be cleaned for the suction to empty the Dust Bin properly. Sent it on a vacuum only mission and heard that stuff get sucked out and hit the bag! Oh yeah! That's the fix!! FYI, the filter doesn't come out, you have to either wipe it off with a soft cloth or do what I did and vacuum it off with a small shop vac. Make it part when you change your Dust Bag. Now I have to buy more bags since that thing is going to fill once a week with my dog's hair.

So I did some research and there is a filter in the compartment where the dust bag is that needs cleaning. Without cleaning it you lose air flow and suction.

My LS10 Gen2 has times when it does not engage home and goes back out.  How can I. fix this problem?

Try cleaning the charge contacts in the dock and on the robot. Also clean the sensors underneath and in front. After that you may have a different issue. But that's the easy thing to try

Same issue here. We need to be able to run multiple empty cycles and increase frequency.  Manually emptying at robot is dirty and if you don't catch it in time it makes a mess.

So I did some research and there is a filter in the compartment where the dust bag is that needs cleaning. Without cleaning it you lose air flow and suction. I couldn't get it to come out and based on what I saw you need to wipe it off when you replace the bag. I took my old vacuum hose and vacuumed it out. Hopefully this solves the issue.

Hi,
Please try the following troubleshooting:

Regarding the problem that the base station cannot suck up garbage and cannot collect dust, we recommend that you first click on auto empty in the app to test whether the dust collection function of the base station is normal. If the dust collection function of the base station is normal, it may be that there is a lot of pet hair at home and the robot's dust box is full, causing the garbage hair to pile up and be difficult to collect on the base station.
(1) We recommend that you manually clean the robot's dust box and filter first. The robot's dust box also needs to be checked and maintained by the user regularly. It is recommended to maintain the dust box at least 1-2 times a week.
(2) Confirm whether the device is in Do Not Disturb Mode. If it is in Do Not Disturb Mode, auto empty will not work
(3) Confirm the frequency setting of auto empty. If it is not set to high-frequency mode, it is recommended that the user set it to high-frequency mode. For specific setting instructions, please refer to this link article: https://support.dreametech.com/hc/en-us/articles/10823195760271-Tailor-Your-Robot-Vacuum-s-Auto-Empty-Schedule-for-Perfect-Home-Hygiene

If the issue remains unresolved after completing the above steps, please contact support.na@dreame.tech for further investigation and assistance.

Additionally, please provide the following information, and we will submit it to the technical team for further assistance:
1 .A video showing the device failing to perform automatic dust collection.
2. Collect a video showing the manual operation of the "start auto empty" function in the app to test the dust collection feature of the base station.
3. Photos of the dustbin and filter.
