Scraping noise

My x40 ultra makes a scraping noise when mopping. This started about six months after buying it. It's not constant and seems to happen when it's moving straight. There are scratches under one mop pad. Any suggestions?

Have you cleaned the magnets and the holes it goes into?

Try swapping the pads

Your mop pad could be folding back while cleaning. Mine did that and wouldn’t even dock bc mop pad was folded in half. For some reason the Velcro wouldn’t hold it in place anymore. I took a hot glue gun and put a few dots to keep the pad on the Velcro part and works like a charm!

1. Please confirm whether the noise only occurs when mopping, or whether the problem only occurs when vacuuming.
2. Try new mop pads and test.

3. Please check for wear on the magnets on the mop pad holder or the mounting area on the bottom of the robot. If so, please contact support.na@dreame.tech for further investigation and assistance.
Also, please kindly provide a video of the photo (scratches under one mop pad) and the video (scraping noise) to assist with diagnosis.
