Whistling noise

I don't know what's up, but the vacuum makes this really annoying high-pitched sound when I turn it on. What do you think is causing it? I've cleaned the water tank and the used water supply, put them in and out, and put them back in again, but the noise won't stop. But, if I push on the water tank while it's running, it goes away!
