X40 Ultra

I’m having some technical problems when cleaning. The robot will say “Fail to install mops” and “please install manually.” This has only happened 3-4 times. Too many?

Anyone else has this happen— and if so, what do you recommend?

I love my X40 Ultra and new ahead about the aqua robot when I purchased. I really like the aqua robot didn't want spend that much. Know it's come down some . I got a deal on the X40 Ultra for sure . Only wish that dreame had some buy back program to upgrade if you choose too or insentive program! I did notice on Amazon the ratings for the aqua are very low! I would assume first release and many people don't know how to program these robots properly.... Does anyone own the new Aqua and how to do like it. Doesn't live up to the hype and compared vs all other roller mops out there? Robots are pricey Aqua is on my wishlist at the bottom 😏, Maybe I shouldn't have pulled the trigger and waited. Oh well 2,nd Dreame robot in 3 yrs love it..

I've never had that issue but I've read that your not the only person who has.... I believe it has to do with the magnets, I think there faulty, could be wrong though. Dreame Customer Care take care of that pretty quick!

Hi,
Please try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check if the base station cleaning pad is properly installed.

2. **Replace the mop pad**: Please confirm how long the mop pad has been used. If it has been used for a long time, we recommend replacing it to see if the issue improves.

3. **Check the magnet on the mop pad holder**: If you have replaced the mop pad but the problem persists, please check if the magnet on the mop pad holder is functioning properly.
First, try switching the left and right mop pads. If the magnet is working fine, please ensure that you are using the original mop pad from DREAME. If you are using a non-original product, we suggest switching to the original mop pad from DREAME to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.

4. **Further troubleshooting steps**:
   - (1) Remove the robot from the base station, then detach the mop pad holder from the robot, and manually restart the robot.
   - (2) Wait for the robot to restart and return to normal.
   - (3) After restarting, reinstall the mop pad holder onto the robot.

If the issue remains unresolved and you are a user in North America, you can contact support.na@dreame.tech for support (this is the North American after-sales email address).
