[X50 Ultra] Too much water in washboard

The last 3 times I used the robot I got a “too much water in the washboard message” and soaked up several ounces of water using towels. Why is this happening? Also, now the robot will not recharge despite being on the dock. It started to charge but again I got that message and now it is dead. (O% charged)

Mine is doing the same thing - too much water in the tray. Also one of my wash pads is extended, and won’t go back into place. Therefore, it won’t go into the charging station properly to recharge.

1. Manually cleaned out the washboard using brush to get all dirt and dust particles stuck.

2. Replaced mop pads (mop pads getting old and letting out too much cloth/dust particles that are clogging the suction in washboard every time and causing the “too much water in washboard error”.

Hi,

Please try the following troubleshooting steps.

“too much water in the washboard message”  issue:
1. Remove the washboard and check if the sewage outlet is blocked. If it is blocked, please clean it thoroughly.
2. Wipe the overflow sensor on the washing board to ensure there is no dirt or debris.
3. Carefully remove the used water tank and check if the  used water tank sealing ring is loose, dirty, or turned up. If the sealing ring is dirty, reinstall it and wipe it clean with a cloth to ensure it is firmly installed. If the sealing ring is turned up, please provide a photo of the abnormality.
4. After emptying the sewage in the used water tank, ensure the buckle is fixed and the used water tank is firmly installed in place to prevent leakage during operation.
5. Reinsert the used water tank into the base. Gently press it down to ensure it is correctly and firmly installed.
6. Use a dry cloth to wipe off the residual water in the base station. After cleaning, reinstall the washboard and check if the issue still exists.

Charge issue:
1. Check if the rocker switch on the back of the base station is turned on, and ensure the base station’s indicator light is on normally.

2. Check if the adapter plug is loose or damaged. Re-insert the adapter firmly. If the adapter is damaged, we recommend replacing it with a spare adapter to charge the robot.

3. Clean charging contacts and test charging:
   - Wipe the charging shrapnel on the charging base to ensure it can rebound normally.
   - Also wipe the charging contact piece on the robot.
   - Place the robot correctly in the base station, charge it for 2 to 3 hours, and check the power information in the APP to confirm if charging works normally.

4. Verify that the robot is not overturned. If it is, please reposition the robot properly within the charging base station.

If the issue remains unresolved and you are a user in North America, you can contact support.na@dreame.tech for support.
Also, kindly provide a video/photo of the problem to help with diagnosis.
