Notifications do not clear

It seems there is always a 1 on the app icon and a little red mark on the notification bell. I have cleared / deleted all the messages, checked the device etc but the 1 and red mark do not disappear. This is annoying because I am constantly checking the app

Hello, this issue has been resolved. It is recommended that manually clear the notifications.
