[L40 Ultra] Laser distance error

The robot vacuum can't return to the base, and it loses the navigation capacity after the laser distance error. Can I return the product for repair? Thanks

Hi,
Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Please confirm that your robot has been upgraded to the latest firmware version, if not, please update it.
2. Check if the LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) component is stuck by foreign objects, gently nudging to confirm free rotation.
3. Gently move the LDS cover to confirm it can move freely in all directions, checking for obstructions.
4. Check if the LDS laser emission and reception holes are blocked, clean with a soft cloth if dirty.
5. After completing these steps, please restart the robot and restart the task.

If the issue remains unresolved and you are a user in North America, you can contact support.na@dreame.tech for support. Also, kindly provide a video of the problem to help with diagnosis.
