Z1 Pro question

How do I set my Dreame Z1 Pro to map the pool? I already put it in the pool and set it to “standard clean,” but it seems to be confused, circling, not going very far, then repeating, and staying only on the floor. I’m sure the manual tells me what to do, but I’m not finding it. We also have stairs and a tanning ledge. Thanks for your help!
