Self Empty Not working

Just got my new D10 gen 2 and the self empty feature is not working.  When I try to manually engage it, it tells me that the robot is not connected.  I’ve checked all the parts to make sure there was no blockage and it still won’t self empty. I also deactivated the do not disturb mode.
