Home Assistant Integration?

Started using my L40 Ultra finally. Has anyone had any experience integrating this model (or others) into Home Assistant? When you do, are you forced to unpair it from the Dreame app? Do you lose any functionality/entities? After using it here, I really doubt the HA add-on is as impressive as this native app. If that is the case, ideally I hope you’re able to pair in HA to add automation/notifications/scenes etc. but you still have ability to keep the device paired here as well. Interested if anyone can share their experience/tips. Running HA OS off a Raspberry Pi 5 8 gb.

The dreame home skill on HACS supports it in the beta

I was able to use with HA and remain defined in the app (actually, I believe you have to as the HA integration I used required my Dreame acct userid).  So far I use the app exclusively to schedule cleanings, but use HA to drive shortcuts for on demand cleaning.  They work fairly well together.

My new L50 ultra works with matter in home assistant but I will say the matter support is very basic (sensor only reports status like charging, cleaning, searching for dock, etc.  No charge power level or details like the app.)  The 3rd party developer Dreame integration didn't work for me as it required a Xiaomi login which didn't work on L50.  May want to check for firmware updates for your model for matter support.
