Initial charging time

I just bought the L 40 S ultra and I am wondering how long it takes for the vacuum to get a full charge after taking it out of the box. it has been charging for the past 5 1/2 hours and the battery is only at 50%? Is this normal? Advice please

I have a D2 with similar battery.  You should not be taking that long to charge.
