Used water tank error

Trying to run the vacuum and it keeps telling me there's a used water tank error, please check and empty the used water tank. It's empty, I've cleaned seals, tried everything and can't get it to run.

Check to make sure that the float is not obstructed when the lid is closed. I've had a dirty water tank warp from using hot water.
