Smell

I dont see any topic on this but im appalled at the smell that comes from the dirty water tank. Its black too, requires a few rinses after i dump it too. I dump after about 2 mops. We are not dirty people but where does this smell/waste come from?? We have 2 dogs, they are if course potty trained 😉 anyone else experience this? I use only dreame mopping solution.

You have to dump and rinse the dirty tank shortly after the task it’s completed. If you let dirty water sit anywhere you will have bacterial growth and it is going to become stagnant and stink.

You need to increase the frequency of mopping. I run mine every night and my water is almost clear. Also use a kitchen sprayer to rinse out the tank when emptying and the smell will decrease.
