Dreame X40 skipping vacuuming on white carpet (mapped but not cleaned) 1

Hi,
I’m having an issue with my Dreame X40 where it has started skipping vacuuming on a white carpet, even though the carpet is clearly marked and visible in the map.

The robot used to clean this area normally, but recently it just drives around or avoids the carpet entirely and does not vacuum it. There are no no-go zones or virtual walls set for this area.

What I’ve tried so far:

Remapped the entire home multiple times

Deleted the map and created a fresh one

Confirmed the carpet is correctly detected and shown on the map

Unfortunately, none of this has fixed the issue.

Has anyone experienced something similar with light or white carpets? Is this a known sensor or software issue, or is there a setting I may be missing? Any guidance or firmware-related advice would be appreciated.
