Robot can’t get back to the dock

I am experiencing an issue with my Dreame robot vacuum returning to the base station. It has this issue since I first got it but not as bad as now.
Previously, the robot could align itself correctly but struggled to climb onto the ramp because the pedal/ramp seemed too slippery. After a few attempts, it would usually manage to get back.
However, recently the situation has worsened. The robot can no longer align with the center of the dock. Even if it starts perfectly aligned, it deviates to one side while climbing the ramp, causing it to miss the charging pins entirely. No matter how many times it tries, it fails to dock successfully.

I am having the same issue with my robot.  Not going to the dock to charge. Plus I just got mine today.

Check the front wheel.  Mine started doing the same thing.  I looked under the robot and the front wheel was completely broken off.   I contacted support and they fixed it for free.  If your front wheel is fine, check the two rear wheels to make sure the springs are still attached.  Also, clean your sensors on the robot and base station.  Good luck & hope this helps.
