Can’t charge

Just received.   Followed directions multiple times.  Base won’t charge.

Mine too. I’ve tried calling and their support lines are too busy so they had me email and I’m still waiting on a response after 2 days, it’s been dead since about 3 hours after I unboxed it.

Same here!   Cannot map the device because it won’t charge!

Hi there, please follow these steps to troubleshoot your charging issue:

1. Check if the charging station is powered on properly. Turn on the rocker switch on its back and confirm the base station indicator light works normally.
2. Inspect the power adapter plug for looseness or damage, re-plug it tightly. Replace the adapter with a spare one if it is damaged.
3. Wipe the charging spring pins on both the base station and your robot, and make sure the pins on the dock can bounce back smoothly. Place the robot correctly onto the charging dock, leave it charging for 2 to 3 hours, then check the battery status in the Dreame App.
4. Confirm the robot is not placed upside down; put it correctly on the charging station.

Mine wouldn't charge because it comes with a removable sticker over the robot charging plates. I didn't notice the sticker even though it said to remove it. My problem has been solved! Hopefully you get a quick solution.

Just got mine. It died while mapping. How do you know it’s charging?  I can’t confirm and if I use the app to “start recharging” it leaves the base and never comes home. Any suggestions?

The back of the docking station has a power switch. It should be in the down position. You’ll know it’s powered on when a small white light is on solid at the front of the docking device. Place the robot in the device and wait for a click. Use the app to command the robot to charge. Once done it’ll voice command saying it’s charging. You can use the app to confirm it is charging.
