Exhaust

Is there a way to force exhaust. I don't think my vacuum is emptying when done.

Mine isn’t either.

I’ll probably be sending it back. Can’t seem to get any support.

Same here. Just started about a month ago not emptying the bin when full. Now I see hair balls all around and I have to go and manually empty it. Seems that no one’s concerns on this forum get answered.

I have to manually dig out the dust and dog hair, and the bag in the base is mostly empty.  What causes this and how do I keep it from happening?

Try adjusting the settings. Go to dock settings, scroll down to auto empty and ensure it’s on High Frequency. It will change between tasks and hopefully not fill up.
I’ve also found it’s helpful to put it on regular setting instead of max, but let it run multiple times so it can empty more often.
Other than that I change the bag more often (shedding dogs Ftw!).
