My robot won’t map the house just keeps going in circles and can’t go back to the dock

Mine is doing the same thing. I have no Wi-Fi issues. I have deleted the robot and redid the wifi with the app. And it's still just keeps going in circles. And never returns to the dock. It will not map

My robot is brand new. It won’t dock to charge. It gets in front of the dock and turns around a couple of times and then says place on dock so it can charge. But I don’t think it is charging. It is plugged in and the voice is talking. Just not docking. Please help

Are you talking about washing the floors, or are you talking about it washing the pads? If you’re talking about the floors, you can set it to vacuum before mopping, or vacuum and mop at the same time if you choose that, it vacuums in the front and mops in a back.

Since it’s brand new and you’ve already reset it five times, I wouldn’t keep resetting it. Check that every piece of protective film/sticker has been removed from the sensors, make sure the top LDS turret rotates and moves freely, check that both drive wheels move normally, and make sure the front bumper moves in and springs back freely.

Then put the robot about 3–6 feet directly in front of the dock and press the Dock button. Dreame actually recommends this as a docking test. If it still just spins/can’t dock from that close, I’d contact Dreame or exchange it rather than continuing to troubleshoot a brand-new machine.
