Region locked

Hello Dreame experts. I recently purchased an X50 Ultra Complete from a third party—a private seller rather than an official store—so naturally, it came without a warranty, though the unit itself was brand new. I live near the US border, so buying it in the States was convenient for me. I registered on the app and the machine worked perfectly for two or three days, but then a region lock kicked in. I’ve done some research and it seems there is no way to bypass this restriction, so I suppose my vacuum has effectively turned into a giant paperweight. My question is: why lock a vacuum cleaner? It’s a cleaning appliance, not a lethal weapon. I actually intended to buy your consumables—filters, mop pads, cleaning solutions, and so on. It’s a shame that, despite all this technology, we now have to learn the hard way not to buy cleaning equipment in another country. You really dropped the ball on this one, Dreame!
