I had that problem  with one of mine when I first got it was only a few months old. I got what tech support I did it by chat and ultimately it was decided that I would have to send it in. Luckily, I saved the boxes and I put it packed it all back in and so I don’t know how old your vacuum is, but you might want to check with them it may be still under warranty. and mine was covered under warranty and they gave me a ticket. I didn’t have to pay for anything.

This is weird.  My Dreame vacuum/mop goes into the dock the exact opposite way

For the not charging check to see if you have off peak charging selected and what hours do you have it set to. Mine was doing the same thing for a day, then I just turned off the off peak charging and it started charging immediately.
Hi thank you for your question! Please kindly try the following method and see if it works

II. Possible Reasons for Charging Failure

1. Ambient Temperature: The robot vacuum needs to be charged in an environment between 0°C and 40°C. In summer, if the base station is placed in direct sunlight, it may affect charging. For models with water supply and drainage, if the base station location cannot be changed, turn off the main unit and let it sit in a cool, shaded area for two hours before charging.

2. Charging Electrode Oxidation: After a period of use, the surface of the charging electrodes may oxidize. Wipe the electrode surface to avoid affecting charging.

3. Off-Peak Charging Mode Activated: If off-peak charging mode is activated, the machine may not charge properly during non-off-peak hours. This mode needs to be turned off.

4. Docking Issues: If the robot cannot dock properly after returning to the base, it may cause charging failure. Check the accuracy of the base station positioning. Customer feedback indicates that uneven ground may affect docking accuracy.

5. Base Failure: Internal base malfunctions (such as charging module problems) may also cause charging failure. Professional testing is required.
