With the pool cleaner I know it will have a positive effect on the other pool equipment like the motors piping and filter system.   By picking up the sediment at the bottom and throughout the pool it will prevent it from going into the system giving it a longer life span.

My Z1 does not return for pickup it stays in random spots in the pool
